Survived by her son Kirk Lippert, her daughter Kay Da Silva, granddaughters Malory Nance and Meg Ann Martin, and great grandsons Atticus and Atlas Nance
Married to Clayton W Lippert on August 10, 1956. They met as high school students at Sellwood High School in Portland, Oregon. Clayton served in the US Army after high school and was deployed to Germany. Upon Clayton's Honorable Discharge from the US Army he returned to Portland, Oregon and renewed their romantic relationship. They were married while Clayton was pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree at Oregon State University. It was during this time period that Kirk (1957) and Kay (1960) were born. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University, Clayton took a position as an Electrical Engineer with the Standard Oil Company of California in the San Francisco Bay Area with the family residing in Pinole, California. Several years after the commencement of his employment with the Standard Oil Company of California was asked to take a position as an Electrical Engineer with ARAMCO in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Clayton, Venita, Kirk and Kay moved to Nejmah (Ras Tanura) Saudi Arabia in 1964 and then on to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia where they resided until 1974. In 1974 Clayton was transferred to the Aramco Overseas Company (AOC) office in The Hague, The Netherlands with the family residing in Wassenaar, The Netherlands. Then in 1979 Clayton was again transferred. This time to the Saudi Aramco office in Houston, Texas. Upon moving to Houston, Texas Venita took an administrative position with Exxon. When Clayton retired from Saudi Aramco Venita's "labor of love" was to raise her 2 granddaughters, Malory and Meg Ann.
Venita attended Portland State University for several years until the birth of her 2 children. After her children were grown, she worked as an administrative assistant including as an assistant to the Principal of the Dhahran Senior Staff School. She was a world traveler having been around the world 3 times. She loved to shop for gold jewelry in the gold suqs in Khobar, Saudi Arabia for Persian rugs in Isfahan, Iran for Christian Crusader jewelry in Beirut, Lebanon and for tailored clothing in Hong Kong. She went on safaris in Kenya, Africa. She went on arrowhead hunting trips in the Rub Al'Khali desert in Saudi Arabia with no water other than drinking water. She searched for Qaisumah Diamonds in northern Saudi Arabia. She went on cruises from Barcelona, Spain to New York, New York. She went on cross country driving trips from the East Coast to the West Coast of the USA. Through all this she never complained and always kept a sense of humor and a smile on her face!
