Verga Thomas Woodcock Krumpholz, a member of Memorial Church of Christ and longtime Houston resident, passed away peacefully at The Hampton at Spring Shadows on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at the age of 87.
Verga was born in Anderson County, Texas on November 18, 1922, the daughter of the late Oscar C. Thomas and Eula B. Turrentine Thomas.
Preceded in death by her husbands James B. Woodcock and Kenneth W. Krumpholz, Verga is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Woodcock Brinson of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; her son, Michael James Woodcock and wife JoAnn of Bethel, Texas, and her brother, Roy Lee Thomas and wife Helen Waller Thomas of Grand Prairie, Texas.
To celebrate Verga's life, a memorial service will begin at half past ten o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 20th of August at The Hampton at Spring Shadows, 9889 Kempwood Drive in Houston, Texas 77080.
