I was very sad to hear of Verna's passing. She was the best Sunday School Teacher at Woodland Christian Church, and my mentor. I was a very inquisitive child, and anything I wanted to know, she had the answer.

She made sure all her Church "kids" were happy, and always had such nice things to say to each of us.

Alex, Vernon, Mary, Donna, Allison and to all of her extended family; I am so sorry for your loss. She is now with her Lord whom she loved, and other family members that preceded her in death, including her best friend; her husband.

I remember Verna from Woodland Christian Church and I continue to be so very grateful for the way she challenged and nurtured me as one of the youth in the church. Thanks be to God for Verna Mair.

I knew Mrs. Mair from Woodland Christian and also as a fellow employee at Aldine ISD. She was a wonderful person, very energetic and witty. Alex and Donna, my mother and I are so sorry to hear of your loss but rest assured, she is in the arms of Jesus and will remain in your heart and memories forever.
Much love,
