Veronica Mata-Stevens, age 66, of Houston, Tx passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, with her loving husband Dee Stevens by her side. She was born on February 17, 1959, in Crystal Lake, Tx to the late Guadalupe Lopez and Fabien Mata.
Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Lopez, Fabien Mata and Rito Picazo.
She is survived by her husband Dee Stevens, her niece Monica Torres, her nephew Hector Mata Jr, brothers Hector Mata, Manuel Mata, sister Amparo Picazo, stepsons David Stevens and Derek Stevens, stepdaughter Sandra Zamora husband Robert, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
A celebration of life for Veronica will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd., Houston, TX 77001, followed by a reception from 1:45 PM to 3:45 PM.
