Words can't express how my heart feels at this moment. To know that my friend and sister in Christ has passed on to Glory. I will miss our conversations and I will never forget how we meet. In the H.C.C. office and we were friends every since that day. I would like to extend my condolences to her daughters, the love of her life and to her family. Rest in peace my love! Rest in peace!

Mrs. Cofield was so awesome to me during my time at HCC. There was nothing she would not help me with at all. This really hit me hard and I’m praying for her family. 

My deepest condolences on the passing of your beautiful mother, Vickie was such a lovely person. I loved her smile and admired her character.  She will be greatly missed.

I would first like to say, I am sending my love and condolences to the beloved family.  I thank God that I was able to meet such an astounding woman.  Ms. Cofield was  not only someone I worked with, but she was my mentor. She was always there for me and my colleagues whenever we needed her for simple things,  such as words of encouragement! Her laughter lit up the room. 

One of the best memories I could hold on to forever is the time we've spent.  We worked together and I cherish that because it was time spent. One of the things we as humans take for granted.  It was always positivity in our work atmosphere. 

I remember one day Ms. Cofield called my colleagues and I to a meeting about applying for scholarships. It was very informative and helpful information.  I was going to push the time off to actually apply and who knows why. I had doubt in my mind and I think Ms. Cofield sense that vibration and once the meeting was over she pulled me to the side and said, "Ms. Gable if you apply now, you won't have to stress about it later."  She just gave me the kick I needed and she had no idea how effective those words were because I applied the same day with a 600 word essay.  

I did receive a scholarship and I just look back and say "Thank you Vickie Cofield."
Words go a long way and I will always love and cherish her for that. I miss her so much and as I write this it just brings tears to my eyes because she really put in "time and effort" even when she was busy.  

I will never forget you and I love you.  Until we meet again, watch over us Angel.

Vicky and I met in the Unity Choir at Wheeler Avenue Baptist. She was such a sweet spirit and friendly person. I next saw her in dance class at the Studio. She learned quickly and passed me by!!

Every memory is a fond memory about Vickie. She celebrated life and was a total joy to be around. Her presence would and did light up any room that she graced. I am deeply saddened but will continue to pray for her family as they go through this celebration of her life.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family.  Vickie was very kind and had a sweet voice.  I sung in the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church Unity Choir with Vickie and we both worked for HCC. My prayers are with the family during this time of sorrow.

Heaven truly has another “Angel”.  Vickie a true Christian, Believer, Soldier of the Lord.  And Awesome Mother.  She will always have a place in my heart.  May the Lord give strength to her Family.
