

Mr. Victor Blaine Kizzine, was born on December 1, 1956 in Longview, Texas. He attended public schools in Marshall, Texas before later relocating to Houston, Texas. In Houston, he was an avid sportsman and proud graduate of Jeff Davis High School. He excelled in many sports, including semi- pro football, basketball, golf, and pool. He began his career as a mechanic at a very early age. He was employed as a Shop Foreman at the Metropolitan Transit Authority for over 25 years. Victor was baptized into Christ at the Fifth Ward Church of Christ and was faithful until his death. He was united in holy matrimony to his loving wife, Shelly Kizzine and leaves behind three loving children who were immensely blessed to call him Father. Victor loved golfing and made many friends along his life’s journey. As a result of his outgoing spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many. His beautiful smile, jovial laugh and influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. After valiantly battling cancer, he quietly departed this life Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at his home in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris N. Holley, sister, Ethel Holley and brother, William Leon Holley. His beautiful life and legacy will forever be cherished by his children: Khadijah Washington, Tanaya Kizzine and Victor Kizzine II; two grandchildren, Milan Victoria Kizzine and Blaine Jayce Edwards; brothers, Charles Kizzine and Rodney Holley; sisters, Amelia (Marvin) Fontenot, Mary (Willie) Martin, Venus Holley; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
