Victoria Ramirez

Victoria Ramirez, 85, died Saturday, August 30, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born November 8, 1928, in Seguin, Texas. She was married to Hilario Ramirez in 1944 for 56 years. He preceded her in 2000. She was a long time resident of South Houston, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and having family gatherings. She attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

She is survived by Mary Alvarez, Gregory Ramirez and daughter-in-law Mary Ann, Rosie Espinoza and son-in-law Ruben, Elida Saucedo, Dora Leo, and son-in-law Fermin Trevino Sr.; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and sister Marcela Villegas.

She was preceded by daughter Paula Trevino in 1997.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday September 2, at 5 p.m., Rosary to begin at 7 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday September 3, at 10 a.m, Burial to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Come to Me, and rest in My loving Presence. You know that this day will bring difficulties, and you are trying to think your way through those trials. As you anticipate what is ahead of you, you forget that I am with you– now and always. Rehearsing your troubles results and experiencing them many times, whereas you are meant to go through the only when they actually occur. Do not multiply your suffering in this way! Instead, come to Me, and relax in My Peace. I will strengthen you and prepare you for this day, transforming your fear into confident trust.
