
Virginia Dare Warren Williams, born November 23, 1917, passed away December 12, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin George Williams, Superior Oil Pilot who died in a plane crash in 1944. Her parents were Addie Josephine Hart and Zebulon Vance Warren. Virginia is survived by: her son, Neil Warren Williams and his wife, Nelida; granddaughters Carol Milosevich, husband Chris and great granddaughter Alina of Denver, CO; and Judy Szczepankowski, husband Lukasz and great grandson Oliver of Houston, TX. Virginia worked many years for Houston I.S.D., retiring as Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Athletic Director. She was active in her D.A.R. Chapter in the Clear Lake area and was a 66 year member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, having been initiated into Chapter T- Louisiana in 1949. She was a charter member of Chapter DG-TX. She will be remembered for her faith, strength of character, outgoing personality and sense of style. Virginia was loyal to friends and exemplified dedication, devotion and sacrifice to family.
Cherishing her memory are: niece Beverly Patton Maynard of Fort Worth; nephews Zebulon Vance Warren III and wife Debbie, Kirk Warren and wife Cheryl of Baytown; and niece Laura Rhoda of Deer Park, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , alz.org.
