Vivian Jackson, born December 4, 1919 to Herbert and Emile Smith in Houston, Texas, passed away March 15, 2011 in Houston. Vivian was preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Jackson, and is survived by her son, Timon Eugene Jackson, other family, and many good friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where a vigil service and rosary will begin at 4:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 1505 Kane Street, Houston, Texas 77007. Interment will follow in Paradise North Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
