Wanda Whitt Greb peacefully passed away on August 3, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born to Andrew Jackson Whitt and Laura Mae “Gert” Whitt on September 25, 1931 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1949. She married Lee Edward Greb, Jr. on October 1, 1949, and together they spent the majority of their life in Houston. Wanda and Lee raised 4 children and have 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Wanda was married to Lee for 58 years before his passing in 2008.
Wanda worked in the banking industry for a number of years and was able to retire in the 1980s with her husband. Together, they toured the country in their motorhome and enjoyed the Galveston coast in their beach house with family always around. Wanda’s retirement was filled with many trips to the casino trying her luck at the card tables. Wanda was also an avid bowler and participated in many competitive tournaments. Above all, she was a loving wife and dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to whom she was affectionately known as “Nana”.
She is survived by Lee Edward Greb III & Cheryl Greb, Karen Sue Pancho & Meynard Pancho, Kathy Lynn Gandy & Roger Gandy. Her grandchildren Michael Grafe, Kristy Carlozzi (Gandy), Matthew Grafe, Kimberley Gandy, Mark Grafe, Larissa Fish (Grafe), Jennifer Greb and Myles Pancho.
She was preceded in death by Lee Edward Greb Jr. (husband), Laurie Grafe (daughter), and Zona Stepchinski (sister).
