She was preceded in death by her parents and her eleven siblings: her brothers Doyle, A.J., Fletcher Ray, James B. Jr., Lloyd, and Billy Drew; and sisters Lois, Lucille, Bernice, Lanelle, and Norma.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Tamara Head, and her husband, John C. Head of Houston, Texas, and her cherished granddaughter, Lauren Carlson, and her husband, Zeb Carlson of Dade City, Florida.
She will be dearly missed, but as many know, she held a firm hope for her future, based on Jehovah God’s promise of eternal life in a beautiful paradise, as he originally purposed for us on the earth. (Gen. 1:28, Isa. 46:10, Rev. 21:3,4)
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on October 24, 2026, at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd., Houston, TX 77008.
