Adamcik --Wayne Albert Adamcik, 40, an ardent lover of nature and the outdoors (a proud 14er), and a treasure to his family and friends, passed from this life on March 14, 2016. He is deeply mourned by his parents Ann and Albert Adamcik, sister Kathleen Ann Adamcik Sileck, brother-in-law Daniel Sileck, and godmother Geraldine Davison, as well as by many relatives and friends. Wayne will be remembered as a kind, sensitive, caring person, and as one who touched positively the lives of those who knew him. A self-proclaimed “man of the West”, he was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University (license plate ATM GEO-05), Class of ’05. His diverse pursuits and interests included service as a U.S. Park ranger, editor of children’s books, development of and editing of children’s ESL programs, and employment and volunteer work as a museum docent and coordinator. He excelled in the art of communication, with proficiency in the English language, in-depth knowledge of ASL, and extensive studies in the German language. Wayne truly merited the title of “a good man”, and is sorely missed. Arrangements to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Arches National Park.
