Mr. Cantrell was born June 18, 1957 to William and Phyllis Cantrell in Dallas, Texas, and passed away April 20, 2012 in Houston. He was preceded in death by his father, and is survived by his mother; wife, Cynthia M. Cantrell; daughter, Abby Cantrell; brothers, Richard Cantrell and wife, Tammy, and Ray Cantrell and wife, Carla; sister, Chrisha Russell and husband, Randy, and by many nieces, nephews, other close relatives, and friends.
Mr. Cantrell led the men’s prayer group, and was president of the Personnel Committee at Baptist Temple.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Baptist Temple, 230 West 20th Street, Houston, Texas 77008. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park, Houston, Texas.
