William earned his masters degree and went on to become an Elementary Special Education Teacher for Houston Independent School District for 30 years. He enjoyed art galleries, opera, ballet and theater!
William is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and William Nettles, and brother, Timothy Nettles.
A special thanks to the staff at Treemont Nursing Home and his good friends Catherine "Kitty" Brewer and Eloise Behrends who took care of him for the last three and half years.
A graveside service for William will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
