Mr. Willie Anderson Ford
April 18, 1941 – January 15, 2022

Willie Anderson Ford was the sixth of seven children born to the late Margarete Ford.
Born April 18th, 1941 in Shaniago, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age. Willie was
educated through the public schools in his hometown of Angelton, TX where he attended
Marshall High School.
Early in 1962 Willie met Ms. Ermma Franklin to this union (2) Children were born Mr.
Johnny Ray Franklin & Ms. Vergie Franklin. Later Willie met and married Ms. Lavern
Johnson to this union (4) daughters were born Cerwonda, Diana, Paula & LaChundra as a
family. They joined Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the late
Ernest Gibb, which Willie served as an usher.
Willie worked for the Blue Ribbon Rice Mill in Houston, Texas.He later met Ms. Leslie Graves
to this union (1) daughter was born Mrs. Jocelyn Henry after some years he met Jennie
Thomas and that relationship lasted until his transition on January 15th 2022.
He was a father figure to Calvin, Deshundra & Cecil Thomas.
Willie is Proceeded in death by Mother: Margarete Ford
Siblings: James Newsom , Leon Porter, LuVerta Ford, Freddie Ford,
Marie Herron, Betty Ford
(1)Son-in-law Micheal Deese (1) Grandson Jason Hall and also a special friend
Ms. Joann Sias.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife Mrs. LaVern Ford of Missouri City,TX
(1) Son: Johnny Ray Franklin (Yumi), (6) Daughters: Vergie Franklin, Paula Deese,
LaChundra Ford, Diana Kirk (Jack) & Cerwonda Johnson. Father figure to Calvin,
DeShundra and Cecil Thomas all of Houston, Texas & special friend Ms. Jennie Thomas along
with (23) Grand-children and (41) Great Grand-children and a host of Nieces, Nephews,
Relatives and Friends.
