Willie Rodriguez Zuñiga, born August 16, 1935, entered into eternal rest on April 14, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Olga Ortiz Zuñiga; brothers, Gonzalo Zuñiga, Roland Zuñiga, Ignacio Zuñiga; sisters, Florence Ramirez, Jovita Heavener, and Anjelita Jaramillo. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cynthia Zuñiga, Teresa Zuñiga, and Sylvia Zuñiga; sister, Hortense Gonzales; grandchildren, Joel Patrick Guerra and Christina Guerra.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. at Sugar Creek Baptist Church, 13223 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478 on Friday, April 21, 2017. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 both at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
