

A baby girl with hazel eyes and a wonderful smile was born to Maxine Sutton and William McDonald on September 27, 1946. She was very special and a one-of-a-kind child. The name Yevernette Yvonne fitted her perfectly. Growing up in Houston, Texas, she attended Carver High School and Texas Southern University.
Yevernette, the mother of five children, worked daily until her health began to fail. She was employed with Southwestern Bell and Intercontinental Airport for many years. As a child, she was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church and attended regularly with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, William McDonald, Sr., her stepfather Jesse Taylor, her mother Maxine McDonald, one sister Ruthie Mae Taylor, one brother William McDonald Jr. and one son Vaughn Tabb.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children: LaShena Webb, Renessa Luchin, Shawn Tabb, and Jamarcus Williams (Krisanthia); seven grandchildren, Shawn Jr., Torrance, Meisha, Bryce, Jeremiah, Javon, and Jailah; four sisters, Acquenette LeBlanc, Anthanette Darden (James), Veda Rhodes, and Tracy Tippen; two brothers, LaRue Taylor and Vonzy Taylor; and host of other relatives and friends.
