Zenaida B. DeLaRosa, 92, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 left us to join her beloved husband of 78 years, Leonides, who just passed on January 24, 2016. They were married on July 17, 1939 in Edna, Texas. She was born in Gonzales, Texas on June 5, 1923 to parents Rosalinda Castro and Tomas Bocanegra. She was preceded in death by husband Leonides; sons: Luis, Tommy and Gabriel; brothers: Trinidad, Luis, Fidencio Bocanegra, Johnny Gonzales and sister: Balbina Calvario. She is survived by son: Leon DeLaRosa Jr.(Eva); daughers: Gloria Granados (Joe), Rosemary Cisneros (David) and Alice DeLaRosa; brother: Domingo Bocanegra (Janie) and sisters: Vicky Garza, Geneva Luna(Robert), Lupe Rodriguez(George), Maria Reyes, Jesusa Montez; 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 18 great greatgrandchildren and numerous other family members. She will be dearly missed by all because she was loved by all.
