It is with great sadness that the daughter of Anneliese (Liz) Brumm, 82, of Huntsville, AL, announces her passing on 18 July 2019. Anneliese Brumm was born in Frankfurt, Germany on 16 August 1936. Anneliese Brumm will forever be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karen Brumm. Anneliese was predeceased by her son, Peter Brumm and her husband, William Brumm.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister-in-law, Patricia Geenen of Kaukauna, WI and her brother-in-law, Robert Brumm of Appleton, WI. Also left to cherish her memory are the Metoyer and Monk families, along with many dear friends.
Anneliese was a military wife for 20 years. In 1978, she started working at the Post Exchange on Redstone Arsenal and retired at the age of 70. She served her community as a Red Cross Volunteer while her husband was stationed in Germany, and also was a Red Cross Volunteer at Huntsville Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady, Queen of the Universe Catholic Church until her health failed her. She and William would have been married for 60 years as of 21 July 2019.
But most importantly, she will be remembered as being an excellent wife and mother, as well as a devoted friend to many.
