There are stars whose radiance is visible on earth though they have long been extinct.

There are people whose brilliance continues to light the world even though they are no longer with us.

Amy, you were taken from us too soon. I remember in July 2016, I had just returned to the USA after 12 years in the Middle East. Siobhan and I were in Huntsville and you were able to join us at Landry’s seafood for lunch. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable time as we talked about your mom and my dad, we talked about books and great authors we had read. Siobhan was so happy to meet you and she felt such an affinity with you as she also loves to read.  Over the years since we have touch lives through Facebook. You are so loved and will be so missed.

I’m deeply saddened to know you’ve left this world far too early. My sadness is tempered by an absolute faith and knowledge.... That...  In the end, all of us make the return journey to G-d. 

And, I have a faith that our “end journey” is the start of  a “new beginning.” One day you’ll again be with all of your family close and far. This faith provides comfort in the knowledge that you’re in peace and love closer to G-d. And, that we will all see one another again through the Grace of G-d.

Amy I know you are in heaven reading in a beautiful Monet garden.  You are watching down over your babies.  I only met you once but your quiet dignity, courage in the face of life and obvious love for your family touched me deeply.  We talked back and forth but life was so hectic for both of us we lost touch. I wish that had not been the case ..... but you always think there is time..I am so sorry that is not the case. ..I know you will be missed by all who loved you and I will miss ypur thought provoking post and the chance to have known you better.... I pray for your sisters  and babies for  the loss of your beautiful courageous spirit to help guide them in life. 

My only memory of Amy was as a baby. I knew and loved her mother Rebecca well. Amy and my first grandson Jeremy Clement were both born in July 1975.  Amy July 2 and Jeremy July 17. I’m so sorry to learn about her untimely death and am praying for each of her beloved families that God draws near as never before to give comfort now and each day forward. To my dear big sister,  We shared so much in our lives,  I never thought we wouldn't share more. I will miss your gentle acceptance of me, even when I am difficult, you never said that I was difficult to love. You were so easy to love. As a matter of fact,  I will never stop loving your laugh, your kindness and empathy for others, your ever present spark of happiness when we spoke about your children.  I love you dear sister, for also being the best friend that I could ever have. Please feel free to look in on me anytime you like. I miss you every moment that I allow myself to remember that you aren't here with us any longer. Tell Mama and Gramma and Granddaddy that I love them. Please introduce yourself to my best friend Alison. If she hasn't mustered up the courage to meet Prince yet, you're just the person to help her out. I love you Amy, with all of my heart. Amy called me and told me that I had to come see her right away. I knew something big was happening. She looked at me with a scared, trepidatious look and told me that she was expecting  her 1st child, my 1st nephew.  I don't think she expected the smiles and hugs and shouts of pure joy!! She looked shocked. You see, everything wasn't perfect. I told my sister,  just you wait....it will be.  And it was. ❤

I was so heartbroken to hear about Amy.  Amy was a wonderful person and mother to my niece and nephew Kenan and Draven.  Many prayers going up for Amy, Kenan, Draven and the rest of the family.  May the lord be with you all during this very difficult time. 

Amy, I love you so much and you were such a delight to everyone who knew you, your memory will live forever in our hearts, my brother loved you and you loved him like no other!! I'm so glad to have you as my sister in law!! Fly high and rest in peace sis!!
