Mr. Bennett Hendricks

August 6, 1925 – June 17, 2016

Bennett Hendricks 90, a resident of Huntsville, AL left this life on June 17, 2016. He had been residing at Tut Fann Veterans Home in Huntsville, AL for the past two years. He was born in Blanton, AL to James and Ethel Hendricks. He was the youngest of his family of 9 brothers and 1 sister. Orphaned at an early age, he was raised by his aunt and uncle Marshall and Minnie Davis.

After working in cotton mills, he joined the Army and served two terms during WWII as a Military Police and Officers Orderly. As a long time resident of Madison he worked for and retired from both NASA and Boeing.

Mr. Hendricks was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee Hendricks. He is survived by his son, James Hendricks (Gaytha); daughter, Anita Faye Noel (Bill); grandchildren, Nathan Noel (Dana), Breanna Noel, Dana Duskin, Denise Delk and Steve Rodriquez (Carmen); great grandchildren, Lachlynn Noel, Austin Delk and Gloria Petty; great-great grandchild, Ayla Delk.
