Betty June Bell

Betty was born in Giles County, Tennessee to Robert Taylor Greene and Annie Lee Anderson, one of eleven children. She graduated from Jones High School in Lynnville, Tennessee, worked for South Central Bell in Nashville, Tennessee and retired from the City of Huntsville with 32 years of service.

In retirement, she volunteered many years at Huntsville Hospital, enjoyed working in her yard, taking care of her dogs and cats, and cheering for the Crimson Tide. Her greatest love was for her two grandsons, Seth and Garrett.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband John R. Bell, son Donald Jeffrey Martin, ten brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Martin Hudson (Mark), grandsons Seth Taylor Hudson and Garrett Lee Martin, daughter-in-law Rachelle Martin, and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Crestwood Hospital Acute Care for the Elderly and Affinity Hospice, with special thanks to Regency Pathway Memory Care staff for their love and care over the past four years.
