Blondina Lee Steelman

May 20 1937 – January 17, 2014

Blondina Steelman, 77, of Huntsville, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She retired from Chrysler and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary. Mrs. Steelman was instrumental in the start of the Neighborhood Watch Program in the Holiday Homes Community.

She is preceded in death by two daughters, Carol Johnson and Jeanette Steelman one sister, Catherine Hastings.

She is survived by Daughter, Patsy Steelman Clark (Terry), Kansas City, Missouri. Sons, Donnie Steelman (Amy), Madison, AL; Gene Steelman, Huntsville, AL; David Steelman, Huntsville, AL; Kenneth Steelman, Madison, AL; Anthony Dale Steelman, Huntsville, AL; Terry Steelman (Jill), Owens Cross Roads, AL; Scott Steelman (Misty), Hazel Green, AL, and her special 4 legged companion, “Britches”; Sisters, Doris Keathley, Vicki Adams, Sandra Miller and Cheryl Lee, Brothers, Max Lee, and Wayne Lee, 19 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Valhalla Funeral Home with interment to follow in Faith Memorial Park in Madison, Alabama with Larry Billiter officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home.
