Bobby Jean Griswold, 89 years of age, passed away peacefully at Avenir Memory Care in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 14, 2023. Mrs. Griswold was born on October 2, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Canerdy Jackson and Mary Edna (McCary) Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Herbert Griswold, a retired LTC of the United States Army. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lila (Jackson) Wells of Birmingham, AL and brothers, Cecil Jackson of Knoxville, TN, Charles Edward Jackson of El Paso, TX and Clarence Webster Jackson of Huntsville, AL.
Surviving Mrs. Griswold is her sister, Rosalind Fay Moseley of Knoxville, TN. Bobby Jean’s life will be celebrated with a private graveside service on May 25, 2023 where she will be laid to rest in Valhalla Memory Gardens of Huntsville, AL. In lieu of flowers, gifts of remembrance may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of your choice to advance Alzheimer’s Research and treatment.
