Carolyn Roden Gulley

She was reunited with her beloved husband Lavon, parents Winston and Mildred, siblings Rebekah, Tammy, Eddy, and Jim, grandchildren Baby Curtis and Shawn, and great-granddaughter Ellie Noel.

Precious memories will be cherished by her children, Steve and Connie, Stan and Shannon, Lavonda and Leslie, Lori and Rodney, her grandchildren, Victoria and John, Tiffany, Tyler and Savannah, Jacob and Chelsea, Michael, Katelyn, Zachary, and Joshua, great-grandchildren, Jackson, Skylar, Everly Bristol, Olivia, and Elizabeth, her siblings, Brenda, Shelia, Michael, and Arvel, and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was a devoted member of Huntsville City Church where she served in various leadership positions such as Sunday School Teacher, Children's Ministry, Women's Ministry, VBS Director, Pastor's Aide Committee and Missions. She and Lavon also served as pastors at The Sanctuary on the Mountain. She retired from BellSouth after 35 years of service.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Candy Brasel, and the wonderful staff at Huntsville Hospital Family Care.

A visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home, located at 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811, on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 pm. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens immediately following services.
