Cecile Smith Brown

Cecile Smith Brown, 91, of Huntsville, AL. passed away Thursday,

December 3, 2015.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Brown; sisters, Helen Moore, Inez Smith and Martha Green; her brothers, Chesie Smith, Willie Ross Smith, Euell Smith Jr., Robert Smith and Benny Smith.

Cecile is survived by her sons, Dwan Brown of Huntsville; Tim Brown of Birmingham, AL. Grandchildren, Nathan and Sarah Brown of Huntsville; Sister, Catherine Walker of Satsuma, AL; brother, Thomas Smith of Hokes Bluff, AL. and numerous nephews and nieces.

Cecile was born to Euell and Mazie Walker Smith of Etowah County on June 14, 1924. She was a long time member of the Southern Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife and homemaker and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 12, from 11 am to 1pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, with Funeral services to follow at 1pm at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Please sign the guest registry at www.valhallafunerals.com.
