Cecilia C. Summers

She was married for 13 years to the love of her life Bobby Summers until his death in 1995.

She was retired from the city of Huntsville after 30+ years of service in a job that she loved. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family and shared many fun hours with her Domino and Bunco friends.

Her life force and 2nd love of her life was being “Nanny” to her granddaughter, Courtney, she raised since the age of 3. They shared a special bond that was special to witness to all that knew her.

She loved her church family and found strength in her beliefs.

She was known to her family and friends as “sis”, “Aunt SISSY”, “CC” and Cecilia. She was preceded in death by her Father Andrew A Clemons, Mother Inez Elizabeth Clemons, Brother Tommy Clemons (Barbara), and Brother Ray Clemons (Jan). She leaves behind her Granddaughter Courtney Turner Blackburn (Ashton), Great grandson, Memphis Blackburn, Stepdaughter, Catrina Campbell, Nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

A visitation for Cecilia will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 PM.
