Charles Wesley Hood, age 92, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Charles was born on March 28, 1932 in Cullman County, AL, to the late John & Lela Hood. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons Ronald Wesley Hood and Charles Michael Hood.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Carol Hood, as well as 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. And a host of other family and friends. Mr. Hood was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Visitation for Charles will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Following the visitation will be the celebration of life service with military honors at 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Charles will be laid to rest in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Huntsville, AL.
