

In loving memory of Charlotte Ann Peavy, born on March 26, 1938, and peacefully passed away on January 16, 2024. Charlotte, a dedicated military wife for 22 years, leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Preceded in death by her parents Mark Baker and Ivesta Baker, husband Ralph Peavy, son Freddy Peavy, and daughter Sharon Dollar. Charlotte is survived by her sisters Mary Floyd and Frances McElyea. Her memory lives on through her children: David Peavy, Michael Peavy, and Deborah Peavy.
Charlotte’s vibrant spirit is carried by her grandchildren Amy Dollar, Michael Key, Adam Key, Philip Key, Mallory Peavy, and Zack Peavy. Additionally, she leaves behind nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Beyond her roles in the military community, Charlotte attended New Market School and Buckhorn High School. Her diverse interests included tending to her garden, caring for animals, fishing, shopping, collecting antiques, and following the saga of General Hospital.
Having dedicated years to Chrysler, Charlotte retired with a wealth of experiences. Married to Ralph on January 3, 1956, she celebrated 61 years of marriage until his passing. As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Charlotte for her warmth, resilience, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she find eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her.
The visitation to celebrate Charlotte Ann Peavy's life will be held on Thursday, January 25th, starting at 11:30 am. The service will follow at 1:30 pm, both taking place at Valhalla Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama. It's an opportunity for friends and family to come together, offering support and honoring the memory of a remarkable person.
The service for Charlotte Ann Peavy will be conducted by Father Joseph Lubrano of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, adding a spiritual touch to the commemoration of her life at Valhalla Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama.
In the final chapters of her life, Charlotte Ann Peavy found solace and joy in her faith, being baptized into the Catholic Church. Her love for Jesus shone brightly, and she dedicated herself to assisting her daughter in aiding the less fortunate. Charlotte's compassionate spirit and commitment to helping others will be remembered as a testament to the kindness she extended to those in need.
