Christine Louise Cantrell, age 74, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Christine was born January 7, 1947 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Mina Virginia Emel and Howard Grove.
Christine was a 1965 graduate of New Hope High School. She worked at G.C. Murphy early in life and Cracker Barrel later on.
Christine is survived by son, James Cantrell Jr (Carol); brother, Richard Emel his four children and eight grandchildren; and sister, Dawn Smith (Steve) and her two children, and three grandchildren; stepdaughter, Katrina Lister; stepdaughter, Cindy Mears (Lee); four step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, James S Cantrell Sr; mother, Mina Virginia Emel and father, Howard Grove.
A visitation for Christine will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with a private burial at Maple Hill Cemetery.
