David Martin Buford, a life-long resident of Huntsville, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 20, 2014. He was born Sept. 2, 1946 to Curtis and Della Buford, who have preceded him in death. David, a man of many talents, loved working with wood, gardening, fishing and golf. Survivors include his wife, Marsha Metzger Buford; daughter, Cynthia Buford Thomas (Bo), all of Huntsville; siblings, Glenn Buford of Frankewing, TN, Mickey Buford of Ardmore, TN and Steve Buford of Taft, TN; grandchildren, Molly and Katelyn Thomas, of Huntsville. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23rd at Valhalla Funeral Home, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 24th, in Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m., with the Entombment immediately following in Valhalla Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
