Dickey Rex Maynard aged 80, a resident of Hazel Green Alabama, passed away on September 11, 2023. Dickey was born in Madison County Alabama on December 26, 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene, and M. C. Maynard.
He is survived by his wife, Retha Johnson Maynard, brothers Tony Maynard, Michael (Linda) Maynard, and children Donna Ogle and Brian (Shannon) Maynard, four grandchildren five great-grandchildren, and nieces, Susan (Rick) Metzger, and Lindsey (Craig) Duffy.
Dickey was a machinist/tool and die maker for thirty-six years at Hart and Cooley. He was an avid golfer and bowler.
