

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Ernestine Sibley; his brother, Tommy Sibley; and his granddaughter, Tiffanie Lau.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 63 years, Martha Lewis Sibley; his daughters, Cynthia Sibley Lau (Scott) and Carla Sibley Litz (Kyle); six grandchildren, Alan Taylor (Samantha), Lacey Isom (Brooklyn), Catye Lau, Cayce McAlister (Nathan), Jackson Litz, and Harry Litz; and ten great-grandchildren, Peyton Lau, Jayden Wilburn, Isaiah Isom, Mary Grace Isom, Ezra McAlister, Harper Lau, Keniston Taylor, Noa McAlister, Brodie Lau, and Shepherd Taylor; sister-in-law Dianne Sibley and nephew Tim Sibley.
Buddy was a proud University of Alabama Booster since the 1980s and an active member of the Alabama Red Elephant Club,Tide Pride, and the Tide Pride Scholarship Club. He dedicated 37 years of faithful service as an Allstate insurance agent, building lasting relationships and friendships along the way. Beyond his career, Buddy poured his heart into mentoring children as a youth coach and serving as a board member at the Huntsville Northwest YMCA.
Above all, Buddy was a family man. He was a devoted husband, a steady and loving father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He never missed an opportunity to share a story, offer encouragement, or pass along a bit of hard-earned wisdom. His strength, faithfulness, and steady presence made him the foundation and support system of his family. His legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter will live on in each of them.
Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 18, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with services to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel, officiated by Will Spink. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
