Edna Mae (Smith) Booth, 92, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her daughter, son and daughter-in-law, on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Booth; her parents, Stafford and Clarice Smith; sister, Alberta Bowden and nephew, Scott Mahlar. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, playing computer games and watching Wheel of Fortune on tv. Mrs. Booth was a member of Latham United Methodist Church, member of Latham Ladies, and previously served at Trinity United Methodist Church as a secretary.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Donna Booth of Huntsville, AL; son, Bill Booth (Kara) of Madison, AL; granddaughter, Tonia Fewell (Jason) of Bessemer, AL; two grandsons, Stafford Booth of Madison, AL and Brion Hutson (Christina) of Pelham, AL; great granddaughter, Katelynn Hagerla of Montevallo, AL; two great grandsons, Kameron Hagerla of Nashville, TN and Kaylor Hagerla of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister-in-law, Barbara Mahlar of Monroe Falls, OH; niece, Beverly Rosen of Indialantic, FL; two nephews, Bruce Bowden of Indialantic, FL and Shawn Mahlar of Stow, OH; a great niece; three great nephews; two grand nieces; and five grand nephews.
