Hank Hagler, age 93, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Huntsville, Alabama.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Latham United Methodist Church – 109 Weatherly Rd. SE, Huntsville, AL 35803. Rev. Robert Sparkman is officiating. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will received friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
Hank proudly served his country and his community as well. He was a Mason and a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He worked for the Missile Intelligence Agency for 23 years at Redstone Arsenal. He also worked at Cape Canaveral. Hank was a member of Latham United Methodist Church, past President of Wesley Sunday School Class and a past President of Elderberries. He loved going to church, travelling and spending time with friends; but what he enjoyed the most was being with family.
Hank leaves to cherish precious memories and to continue the legacy his wife of 71 years, Kitty; two sons, Ron (Dodie) and Greg (Melody) all of Huntsville, AL; seven grandchildren, Nathan Hagler (Jordan) of Harvest, AL; Holly Webster (Cameron) of San Diego, CA, Jeremy Breeden (Kimberlee) of Huntsville, AL, Rachael McCuen (Evan) of Harvest, AL, Zach Hagler of Nashville, TN, Ian Hagler of Madison, AL and Lindsay Hagler of Huntsville, AL; four great grandchildren, Emmett and Sophia Webster, Aurora McCuen and Abby Walton.
The family requests donations are made to Latham United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
