Henry Joe Bing

Henry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, love for his family, and a strong sense of community. He worked as a meat cutter for 30 years at Kroger, dedicating much of his working life to providing for his loved ones. Henry was an active member of the Lacey’s Spring Church of Christ, where his faith was an important part of his life.

Above all, Henry cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Linda Bing; his daughters, Pamela Thomas (Jeff) of Lacey’s Spring, AL. and Rachel Rozell (Shane) of Elkmont, AL.; his brothers, Kenneth Bing (Dell), Glenn Bing (Betty) and Roger Bing (Devon); sister, Brenda Perry (Connie); his seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Bing; his mother, Ida Bing; brothers, Donnie Bing, Tommy Bing, and Wayne Bing; sister, Shirley Williams and grandson, Michael Thomas.

Though Henry will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His years of dedication, his faith, and the love he shared with his family leave behind a lasting legacy. May those who mourn his passing find comfort in the memories they hold dear and in knowing that his life made a difference to so many.

Family and friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Escorting Mr. Bing to his final resting place will be pallbearers; BJ, Zach, Brent, Alex, Robby, and Kevin.

Henry’s life was a blessing to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered with love, missed beyond words, and forever held in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
