Hugh "Rusty" Warner Barton

Hugh "Rusty" Warner Barton, age 77, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Rusty proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He served in Vietnam where he was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation. Sandy retired from TVA as a Boilermaker. He was preceded in death by his wife; Ardeena Lee Barton.

Rusty is survived by his children; Edward Ray Barton, and Darleen Sue Barton Cleckner, grandchildren; Harley Michael Cleckner and his wife Ashton Janell, Holly N. Cleckner Mathes and her husband Adam, Hailey Cleckner, Joseph Edward Barton and Katie Beth Barton, great grandchildren; Alexander Everett Cleckner and Harlen J. Cleckner, his cousin; Jimmy Hardin and his wife Jane.

Visitation for Rusty will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. The Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Graveside service with military honors will occur Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM EST at Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN.
