

Jeanette M. Hall, 83, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away on April 6, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama. Jeanette was born in Huntsville, Alabama, to Harry N. Mullins and Carrie Lones Mullins on October 28, 1942. She graduated from Buckhorn High School in 1961 and was a lifelong resident of Madison County, Alabama.
Jeanette started her career at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center during the Apollo Missions to the Moon and was able to take her family to see the launch of Apollo's last mission from Cape Canaveral in 1972. She passed away just days after Americans resumed exploration of the Moon under the Artemis program. During her NASA career, she worked for Safety and Mission Assurance as a Program Analyst where she made many life long friends, wonderful memories, and significant contributions to American space exploration.
Jeanette will be remembered for her deep love of family, especially in her favorite role as MawMaw to Ryan and Alyson Hall. She loved to travel across the United States with family and friends leaving behind so many stories from trips down to Florida's Space Coast, the Gulf beaches, Fall Creek Falls camping trips, road trips to the Northeast and out West, and those cherished trips with the NASA "Girls".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie W. Hall, her mother, Carrie Lones Mullins, her father, Harry N. Mullins, and her sister, Mildred M. Camper. She is survived by her son, Michael W. Hall (Amy), grandchildren Ryan and Alyson Hall, sisters Barbara M. Paseur and Peggy M. Neece, brother Billy Mullins, and many nieces, nephews.
Michael and Amy would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Grandview Gardens memory care at Redstone Village for their loving care while Jeanette lived there in her later years. Michael and Amy would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses from Hospice of North Alabama for their loving care during her final weeks and days. Jeanette was constantly surrounded by so much love and compassion.
Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with a Gravside Service following at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of North Alabama or a charity of your choice.
