Jimmie was born in Vincent, Alabama to James “Jack” Bishop and Thelma “BB” Bradley Bishop, and raised in Wilsonville, Alabama. She married her high school sweetheart John Wayne Boyles, in 1956 and celebrated 67 years together in 2023. They raised two beautiful daughters.
Jimmie was a Red Cross clinician, Girl Scout leader, and business owner. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with family. She was an avid animal lover, and loved to be outdoors.
Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Thelma, and her sister Eva Bishop Boyles. She is survived by her husband John, daughters Sondra Wyatt (John) and Rhonda Beasley (Jeff), sister Layne Dorning, and grandchildren: Jonah and Jordan Beasley. While Jimmie had an abundance of nieces and nephews, she was especially close to her sisters’ children: Maria Davis, Chuck Boyles and Suzanne Conway.
