Jimmie Dean Fields

Jimmie Dean Fields, a resident of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on April 9, 1944, Jimmie lived a life marked by dedication and commitment. Mrs. Jimmie was the happiest when her family was all together.

Mrs. Jimmie worked at Redstone Arsenal, Making Circuit Boards for the space missions, she was so proud to have been a part of that. She was a devoted christian, mother grandmother and wife. Mrs. Jimmie retired from Redstone Arsenal, and then she joined her husband Jerry and daughter Penny when she opened DJ's Pizza.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Fields, son Travis Fields. Siblings Garry Hunnicutt, Richard Hunnicutt, Huel Hunnicutt, Evelyn Hunnicutt and Ginger Hunnicutt.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faithfulness, her sweet spirit and the impact she had on those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Jimmie is survived by her children Son, Troy Fields and his wife Missy and Daughter Penny Fields. Grandchildren, Destin Harris and husband Andrew, Deanna Brandt, Lindsey Fields, Kalea Fields and Casey Fields. Great Grandchildren, Savannah Drake, Logan Harris, Kendall Fields, Kristian Fields and Paisley Fields. Siblings, Doris Wilbourn and her husband Charles, and Paul Hunnicutt and his wife Mary. As well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home, located at 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama, on November 22, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, at the same address, starting at 1:00 pm.

Mrs. Jimmie will be laid to rest in Ragsdale Cemetery.
