Jimmy Franklin Robinson

Jimmy was born April 4, 1947, in Forth Worth, TX to James Forrest and Nellie Robinson. He married Faye Clark Robinson in Huntsville, AL on September 14, 1968.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Robinson, father, James Forrest Robinson, and sister, Gracie Culver. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Faye Robinson; two daughters, Kimberly Andrus- Shwaiko and Brandi McDaniel; four grandchildren, Bailey McDaniel, Nicholas Andrus, Lindzey McDaniel, Jacob Andrus; one brother, James Allen Robinson (Ethel); four nieces; two nephews.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, where he earned the Bronze Star for his heroic achievements, along with several other meritorious awards.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, golf and bowling in his early years. Later in life, he took up gardening, cooking and EBAYing.

You may visit with the family on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 3:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, Huntsville, AL. Funeral Services will be 3:00pm in Valhalla’s Chapel.
