I’m impressed to know more now, about Mr Southern’s career, since as kids playing in the neighborhood, all that work responsibility wasn’t clear to me. He was just the nicest, friendly man, and the father of my friend. Will be thinking of all of his family tomorrow, and wishing them peace through this sad time. Especially Cheryl, Mrs Southern, and Harry.

I remember 1967 the most...Mom & Dad were frantic that morning in December when they found out where the tornado hit in our neighborhood, they were worried sick about your family so Dad walked up to your house...It went right past the house and had knocked over a tree and the tree had sliced the deck off the backside of your house...if it had fallen just several feet nearer, well, thank goodness it didn't...but I remember later your Dad making a joke about cutting up that tree and using it for firewood and that should teach it a lesson...and then he let out with one his patented laughs...made me laugh so hard I cried...
Love & prayers from our family to you, your Mom and Harry...
