John "Jack" Alden Tisdale Jr.

Mr. Tisdale is survived by his mother, Patricia Peer Tisdale of Huntsville, AL; wife, Linda Manhart Tisdale; daughter Bethany Lauren Henry of Tuscaloosa, AL; siblings, Susan Tisdale of Holly Springs, GA, Carolyn Burnette (Don), Tracy Kavanagh (Jim) and Steve Tisdale (Carrie) of Gulf Breeze, FL; In-laws, David Kinnaird ( Jan ) of Wisconsin, Patricia Egerstaffer of Wisconsin, Susan Kinnaird of Tennessee, Elizabeth Bell (Tim), Kathy Dunn and Scott Manhart (Lieha); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack was a 1978 graduate of Grissom High School in Huntsville, AL. He attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville, La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and Alabama A&M University. He obtained a B.S. in Finance, a M.S. in Theology and a M.S. in Education. Jack worked for The Diocese of Birmingham as a Youth Minister for 14 years and taught for Catholic High and Huntsville City Schools. He currently worked at Securitas as a security guard.

You may visit with the family at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Tuesday, July 26 at 9:30am. Mass conducted by Father Joseph Lubrano will be at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a scholarship fund for Bethany Lauren Henry.
