He worked and retired from the Limestone Correctional Facility.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons Greg Wynn; and his son Troy Wynn of Toney, AL; three grandsons Gabriel, Dillon and Caleb of Toney, AL.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years Bette Wynn in 2020; his father Lowell Wynn and his mother Betty Smith Wynn.
A visitation for John will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
