

Judi Delaine Campbell age 82 of Huntsville Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 18th at 10:50pm. She is survived by her husband Billy Campbell, son Mark Campbell, his wife Brandy Campbell and their daughter Taylor, son-in-law Ed (Bubba) Walls and grandchildren Trevor, Eva, and Erika. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Campbell Walls.
Judi was born in Lebanon, Tennessee and later moved to Huntsville, Alabama where she met her husband Billy. They were devoted to each other and married for 62 years.
She attended Huntsville High School and was graduating class of 1962. She worked for the Huntsville City Schools for many years until she retired. Judi was a Devine Christian. She had great faith in the Lord. She was a member of a womens Red Hat club here in Huntsville that included some family and lots of her friends. She loved Flamingoes, Peacocks, the color turquoise, and Elvis Presley. She enjoyed painting, crafting, sewing, going to the beach, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Three years ago Judi was diagnosed with Dementia. The disease progressed and she fought hard to stay here with us. Ultimately, she was taken from this world by the terrible disease. She passed away peacefully with her husband Billy by her bedside. We are thankful she is not suffering or in anymore pain caused by the Dementia. She was loved by so many friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, AL 35811, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm. Judi will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens immediately following services.
