Kevin Allen Bennett

Kevin Allen Bennett, age 49, of Athens, Alabama passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Huntsville Hospital. He was surrounded by care and compassion following a massive heart attack he suffered on Monday, April 6, 2026, while on his way to work.

Kevin was a devoted son, father, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth and strength to those around him. He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Bennett; his brother, Johnathan Bennett and wife Krystal, all of New Market, Alabama; and his cherished daughter, Alexis Bennett of Hazel Green, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Alex Bennett.

Kevin had a deep love for life, his family, and the simple joys that brought people together. An avid fisherman, he found peace and happiness on the water, often sharing those moments with friends and loved ones. Known for his generous heart, Kevin never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need. He valued his friendships deeply and treated those close to him as family, creating bonds that will endure beyond his passing.

Those who knew Kevin will remember his kindness, his willingness to help others, and the genuine joy he found in spending time with the people he loved most.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, April 16, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, at 12:00 p.m. in Valhalla's Celebration Chapel.

Kevin’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
