Nov 30, 1940 - Sep 4, 2015 Lawson Hill Jr., age 74, of Huntsville, passed away at a local hospital on Sep 4, 2015. Mr. Hill was the son of the late Mr. Lawson Hill Sr. and Mrs. Mary Lockhart Hill. He was a native of Huntsville, Alabama who attended Huntsville Madison County School System. He was employed by Huntsville Manufactory, Laughlin Funeral Home and retired from Huntsville Hospital. He was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. Mr. Hill is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Mrs. Ozell Toney Hill, four children of Huntsville, Alabama, three stepchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday September 11, 2015 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Viewing Saturday 12, 2015 at the church from 12 till 1:00 p.m. Service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Meridianville Primitive Baptist Church, 1173 Mount Lebanon Road, Toney, Alabama 35773 with the Elder Dr. Maurice Childress officiating. Interment will follow at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery, Madison, Alabama.
