Lorene Arrowood

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Monday, November 19, 2018 at the chapel of Valhalla Funeral Home, where family members will reflect on the life of Lorene. Entombment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens’ Chapel of Love. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday.

Lorene was a lady of many talents, likes and loves. She was a Christian and her first love was the Lord. Her family held a special place in her heart and taking care of them brought her so much joy. Being a military wife, Lorene and her husband Melvon traveled the world; Germany was her favorite place. After Melvon retired from the U.S. Army and Civil Service, they continued in their travels. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Facebook, Google, shopping, cooking and cleaning.

Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Melvon Lafayette Arrowood; parents, Clint and Mollie Dailey; and two brothers, Johnny and Wilburn Dailey.

She leaves to cherish her memory and continue the legacy her sons, Melvon Arrowood (Diane) of Acworth, GA, Johnny Arrowood (Charlotte) of Lexington, NC and Wayne Arrowood (Pam) of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Kassie Frazier (Trent), Josh Arrowood (MacKenzie), Holland Prince, Chris Bull (Staci) and Bennie McFall; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Frazier, Keeley Frazier, Caden Frazier, Piper Arrowood and Baby Arrowood (due July, 2019) all of Lawrenceburg, TN, Zoe Bull and Zan Bull of Lexington, NC; nephews, Ray Daily of Lafollette, TN, Jerry Daily of Dayton, OH and niece, Dianne Brawley of Dayton, OH.
