Margaret "Peggy" Johnston

Margaret (Peggy) Johnston, age 90, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. Peggy was born December 5, 1930 in Newton, NH to the late Ralph and Helen Marden. Peggy was a dedicated follower of Christ as a member of Faith Chapel, a faithful and loving wife, a nurturing and disciplined mother, and a dependable and gracious friend. She retired as a school librarian from the Madison County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Larry Johnston, who passed away in January of 2012, her sister Marie Currier, and her brother Russell Marden.

She is survived by her children Marvin Johnston (Evelyn), David Johnston (Sarah), and Carol Willis (Britt). As well as 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation for Peggy will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. Peggy will be laid to rest next to her husband at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
