Margaret Monger of Huntsville passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, her 96th birthday. She was a 70-year resident of Huntsville, active in the County Homemakers Extension where she was named woman of the year in 1965.
A devoted wife to Allan, and mother to two girls, she loved cooking and baking, swimming, and playing bridge. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Collinsworth (Richard) of Macon, Ga; and Susan Smith (Clint) of Marietta, GA; as well as three grandchildren, Rilan Collinsworth, Meridianville, Jenifer Kritikos (Will), Charlotte NC, Hayley Smith, Marietta, GA; and three great-grandsons. Margaret never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her.
